As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Sales and Membership Coordinator to join our team.
Position Overview: Reporting directly to the Director of Membership Communications and Events, the Sales and Membership Coordinator plays a pivotal role in driving membership growth and enhancing member engagement through effective sales strategies, strong relationships and exceptional service. This position is ideal for an ambitious individual who is eager to develop their skills in sales and events management within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
  1. Membership Sales and Acquisition:
    • Actively promote club membership benefits and amenities to prospective members.
    • Conduct presentations and tours of the club facilities and provide detailed information on membership options.
    • Follow up on leads and inquiries to convert prospects into new members.
    • Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns aimed at attracting new members.
  2. Member Relations and Retention:
    • Foster positive relationships with current members to enhance satisfaction and retention.
    • Coordinate member events, activities, and special promotions to promote engagement.
    • Address member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  3. Event Coordination Support:
    • Assist the Director of Membership Communications and Events in planning and executing club events and functions.
    • Liaise with members and vendors to ensure seamless event logistics.
    • Help prepare event proposals, contracts, and manage event timelines.
  4. Administrative Support:
    • Maintain accurate membership records and databases.
    • Prepare regular reports on membership statistics, sales performance, and event outcomes.
    • Assist with budgeting and financial tracking related to membership and events.
  5. Professional Development:
    • Participate in training and mentorship programs aimed at developing skills in sales and events management.
    • Shadow the Director of Membership Communications and Events to gain insights into strategic planning and execution.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or hospitality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, 
  • Experience in PeopleVine is a plus.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
