Come Get Your Hands Dirty at Sorrel
Sorrel River Ranch is a Four-Diamond luxury guest ranch tucked along the Colorado River, surrounded by towering red-rock cliffs, wide-open skies, and 240 acres of incredible Southern Utah landscape.
And yes—we have a garden. A big one.
Our organic farm and garden help supply fresh, seasonal produce to the restaurant and mercantile while giving our guests a chance to experience a little hands-on ranch life. We believe good food starts with healthy soil, happy plants, and people who genuinely care about what they’re growing.
If you’d rather spend your day outside than behind a desk, enjoy getting your hands dirty, and want to learn more about organic farming and permaculture, we’d love to have you join the team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Planting, watering, weeding, harvesting, and caring for our crops.
- Helping care for our orchard, greenhouse, and growing spaces.
- Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting irrigation.
- Building compost and helping improve soil health.
- Learning and practicing permaculture and organic growing techniques.
- Keeping our garden productive, healthy, and beautiful.
- Helping create fun farm and garden experiences for our guests.
- Pitching in with the team when something needs to get done.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Curious and eager to learn.
